New Opportunities

During the down time of the pandemic my stepfather approached me about helping him build some picnic tables. He had built a couple for his neighbors and for my mom, and was starting to get more and more orders from Facebook Marketplace. Soon after I started helping, we realized that this was growing into a greater woodworking business. We talked about a few names, but I was striking out on getting the web domains. Finally I came up with Hog & Hive. The Hog represents my stepfather’s heritage or coming from Arkansas and being a Razorbacks fan. The Hive represents me growing up a Yellow Jacket fan, since my mom worked at Georgia Tech until her retirement last year.
